Rod Stafford, Recommended as Non-Resident Elder
Rod Stafford
The Madison Park Church of God Board of Elders is recommending Rod Stafford be ratified by the congregation to serve a four-year term (effective upon confirmation) as a Non-Resident Elder. Eligible voters may cast their ballots on Sunday, February 22, 2009 in The Commons during regular service times at a designated voting station.
Rod provides the Biblical vision and leadership for Fairfax Community Church in Fairfax, Virginia. He oversees its daily spiritual and business affairs, and he provides oversight and direction to all staff and ministry leaders. Rod is the primary teacher at our weekend worship services. He is married to Donna Stafford and is the father of Kora and Zach.
At the January 25, 2009 Annual Business Meeting, the Madison Park Church of God congregation elected Robbie Davis, lead pastor of the Celebration Church in Columbia, Maryland, to represent one of the board’s two Non-Resident Elders. At the time of the meeting, confirmation of Rod Stafford’s acceptance for nomination was pending.

Anderson Area Christian Men’s Lenten Breakfast Series
Men of all ages are invited to attend the breakfast series, celebrating the Lenten season through fellowship, music and inspirational speakers. A free-will offering will be collected to cover the cost of the meal and any program expenses.
