God’s Muscle Milk
Current Sermon Series, Sundays at 9:00am and 10:45am
Pastor Jim Lyon delivers Muscle Milk, a verse-by-verse sermon series in Malachi, using the popular nutrition drink (and emblem of self-discipline) as a frame for building spiritual muscle. The truths in Malachi can be tough; if embraced, they are guaranteed to build spiritual muscle. Malachi is a collection of basic spiritual nutrients, blended together. A Christmas Carol Auditions
Wednesday, September 23, 6:00-8:00pm
Saturday, September 26, 9:00am-Noon at Madison Park Church
Adults and children (age 5 and up) are invited to audition for A Christmas Carol production. A variety of speaking, singing and dancing parts are available. Come prepared to sing (accompanist available), read from the script and perform a few basic dance steps (if auditioning for parts requiring dance). Rehearsals begin in October and vary according to the role assigned. Performance dates are December 11, 12, 13,at 7:00pm at Madisoon Park Church. Contact: Jill O’Malia at (765) 641-4349.

Annual Fall Auction
Thursday, October 8 at Madison Park Church Doors Open at 6:00pm / Live Auction at 7:30pm
Annual live and silent auction to benefit Dove Harbor. Appetizers and door prizes will fill the evening with excitement. Items for bidding include sports tickets, designer purses, car services, jewelry, gas cards, hotel stays, plus much more. Tickets are $10 each or $15 a couple. • J.O.Y. (Just Older Youth): Thursday, September 17 Noon in Crossroads Auditorium. Pete Bitar will share his life story and how he is shooting for the moon and making a difference. Pete is the team leader for LunaTrex, which is competing to put a rover on the moon. All seniors are invited to bring a food dish to this time of fellowship and program. Learn how to make the most of everyday moments, in creative ways, to help create a rhythm in your home to shape your child’s faith. Child Care will be provided. R.S.V.P for child care by October 1 to Rhonda Hollingsworth, Administrative Assistant, Student and Children’s Ministries, at the Church Office.
• Haiti Peanut Butter Drive: August 23 through September 27. Children have the opportunity to provide peanut butter to help malnourished children in Haiti. Bring your bag filled with smooth/creamy peanut butter.

• Items Needed for Annual Dove Harbor Auction: New items, corporate sponsors and volunteers are needed for the Annual Dove Harbor Auction to be held at MPC on Thursday, October 8 at 7:30pm. To donate or volunteer, contact Johnna Barnard at (765) 642-1853.
• Trunk-n-Treat: 75 trunks filled with candy are needed to welcome more than 1600 anticipated trick-or-treaters at this 9th annual community event. Team up with your small group, Sunday school class, friends and family, to decorate your trunk or trailer! Sign up a trunk or bring candy donations to the Children’s Center.
• Support the Troops: Register or update troops and their families at the Madison Park Troop Support Team display in The Commons on the first Sunday of each month. Volunteers are needed to pray, write letters and help with care packages. Contact: Susie Davis at (765) 649-5848.

A fundraiser for Miriam Project Adoption Services, the 5K Run/Walk with the addition of a 10K Run will be held on the Madison Park grounds at 8:30am. Pre-Registration fee is $15.
